My Mom and Me

I'm on maternity leave now so Luke and I will be spending a lot of time together these next few months.  It's different since he's still in the hospital so I'm really looking forward to getting him home and starting our lives.  But for now we'll just have to document our time together while he's in the NICU.  I spend most of my day hanging out with Luke in his room.  Since I can't drive yet my mom and dad or Scott's mom and dad usually take me up to the hospital in the morning and then I go home with Scott when he comes up after work.  You'd think it would be a long day, but the time goes by so fast with him eating every 3 hours.  The nurses let us take care of him as far as changing him, taking his temperature, feeding him, etc.  But it's nice b/c they're always there to help if we're having problems.  It's pretty much like on-the-job training.
